The 35th annual Spring Parade will hit Castro Street this Saturday, April 27 at noon.

Over 50 community groups are participating this year, including the Kiwanis club, which built a float that replicates Mountain View’s recently relocated “Immigrant House” which stood at 166 Bryant Street. It was saved from demolition earlier this year in a campaign led by Marina Marinovich, but the tiny structure still needs to find a permanent home.

The parade will begin at noon on Castro Street at Villa Street and end at City Hall where festivities will continue at Pioneer Park, including live music, food and kid’s activities. This year’s theme is “Wild about Mountain View.”

  1. You can show how wild you are about Mtn. View by wearing a Mtn. View tshirt or hat from the new Mtn. View General Store. There are a bunch of local artists that sell there too! And I heard a rumor that the Model of the Immigration House will be parked outside the store after the event!
