Mountain View-Los Altos and Mountain View Whisman school districts are both seeking community input and feedback on the search for a new superintendent. Superintendent Craig Goldman departed the Mountain View Whisman elementary district at the end of December and MVLA Superintendent Barry Groves announced his plans for retirement at the end of this school year.
There will be three community input sessions on Mountain View Whisman’s search for a new superintendent set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, Wednesday, Feb. 25, and Thursday, Feb. 26. The session on Feb. 24 will offer Spanish translation and be held in Castro School’s multi-use room, 505 Escuela Ave. The Feb. 25 session will be conducted at the District Office board room, 750-A San Pierre Way. The last session on Feb. 26, will be held at the Crittenden Middle School multi-use room at 1701 Rock St.
In addition to the input sessions, a survey is available in English and Spanish until Friday, Feb. 20 at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/MVWSDSurvey.
MVLA community members are encouraged to fill out surveys that are currently open and can be accessed in English and in Spanish.

How about hiring from within, save the cost of relocating someone from Detroit.
Nobody within wants the job at MVWSD. The admin’s are all looking to leave like Craig did.
Who would want to work with the crazy board we elected?
