Listen to live music tonight at The Village at San Antonio
The community is invited to attend a live music event on Thursday, Aug. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Village at San Antonio Center. Attendees of the free event can listen to guitar duo Suburu Nervo as they play cover music that mixes elements of Latin, jazz and pop.
The event is located at 645 San Antonio Road. Don’t forget a lawn chair or blanket for this outdoor event in the shopping center’s park.
Learn to conserve water through DIY drip irrigation
Learn how to save water when gardening through an informative presentation on drip irrigation on Thursday, Aug. 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m at the Mountain View Public Library.
Seasoned gardener Pamela Trounstine will walk participants through the process of installing a drip irrigation system, which helps conserve water. Unlike sprinklers, drip irrigation cuts water usage by directing water only where needed without evaporative loss due to spraying.
Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome.
Pamper your pup at The Village at San Antonio Center
Calling all dog lovers! Bring your canine companion to the park at The Village at San Antonio for an event celebrating the pups of Mountain View on Saturday, Aug. 12, from noon to 2 p.m.
At the event, dubbed the “Dog Days of Summer,” participants will have the opportunity to create a personalized dog treat and dog bandana, and strike a pose in a dog-themed photo booth. The event is located at 645 San Antonio Road.
Registration for this free event is encouraged, but not required.
