Today marks the return of a longtime tradition here at The Six Fifty – the Peninsula Photo Contest. Every year we receive more than 1,000 images from photographers of all ages who live, work or attend school in the 650 area code.

These photos capture scenes from around the world and across six categories — wildlife, travel, abstract, landscapes, portraits and moments. Winners in adult and youth divisions will receive monetary prizes and have their work featured in a Palo Alto Art Center exhibit. Read the article below to check out galleries of past years’ winners and learn more about how you can enter the contest.

The 2025 Peninsula Photo Contest is now accepting entries

Give us your best shots for a chance to win money and have your work featured in a Palo Alto Art Center exhibit.
