Nonprofit Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition has been running its bike valet program at sporting events, concerts and other festivities for 20 years. But this year marks the first time a bike valet has been offered at the World Cup, and SVBC’s program at Levi’s Stadium is one of only three among the 16 World Cup venues. And at the first match, the coalition broke a record for its bike valet.

Getting in and out of Levi’s Stadium has been a challenge for some as part of the World Cup experience. A growing number of fans have decided the answer is to skip traditional commuting methods and turn to Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition’s free bike valet, a service that has been running for sports fans and concertgoers alike since 2006.
