Mountain View’s long-running Art and Wine Festival is set to make its reappearance along Castro Street in downtown Mountain View this weekend.
Hosted by the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, the festival offers the chance to peruse the creations of more than 400 artisans, along with live music and entertainment from two stages.
Visitors can even create art themselves in a community-created mural, according to a Chamber of Commerce press release. There will also be a kid-friendly zone with games and activities. Admission to the festival is free.
Just like in past years, more than 22 wine tastings are on offer, with a boutique wine experience featuring eight heritage wineries available. Wine-tasting tickets can be purchased in advance for $55. Craft beer, canned cocktails and other beverages will also be available for purchase.
The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13.
