Between Coastside farms and suburban lots dotting the Peninsula, there are plenty of places to pick out pumpkins. Many pumpkin patches offer fall-themed festivities like hayrides, haunted houses and corn mazes, plus everything from picnic areas and flower u-picks to petting zoos and more. This year marks the 28th annual United Nations Association Film Festival, with screenings of 60 films that relate to the association’s dedication to human rights. The festival takes place Oct. 16-26 at various Peninsula and San Francisco venues.
