Welcome to the most jam-packed weekend of 2024 to date. Super Bowl Sunday, Lunar New Year, SF Beer Week and early Valentine’s Day festivities are all happening this weekend. We’ve managed to cover it all, from last week’s Valentine’s Day dining and event guides to this week’s Super Bowl watch party roundup, Lunar New Year event guide and Zack Fernandes’ detailed writeup on Peninsula spots celebrating SF Beer Week with special releases, tap takeovers and more.

And Karla Kane brings the focus back to Valentine’s Day with a sweet story profiling three small businesses run by couples. Karla got the backstories about how these couples met and how they share responsibilities at work and home. One of my favorite quotes from her story was from the interview with Groovy Goose Coffee co-owners Nathan and Siera Conte. “We have a code word that we’ll sometimes use to say, ‘Hey, I’m done talking about Groovy Goose right now!’” Siera said. Read about how these partners in business and life work and spend time together.
