Jazz composer and pianist Marta Sánchez to perform five Palo Alto shows
Madrid-raised, New York City-based Marta Sánchez will come to Palo Alto April 1-5 to play a run of five concerts presented by Earthwise Productions at the Mitchell Park Community Center.
Dance company puts masterpieces into motion
You could say that Natasha Carlitz Dance Ensemble’s latest show is a bit of a museum piece. “Gallery” is a series of vignettes that bring works of visual art to life through dance. The Palo Alto-based dance company presents the show March 29-30.

The Counter Cupertino to permanently close, two other locations transfer ownership
Peter Katz opened the second location of The Counter, a build-your-own burger chain founded in 2003, in Palo Alto in 2006. Eventually, he would own seven locations. Now, he’s ready to move on.
