Lots of people can claim to have a workspace with a view but it would be hard to compete with Timothy Zerlang, whose “office” is on the 14th floor of Stanford University’s Hoover Tower. He is is Stanford’s carillonneur — the person responsible for the melodic sounds that emanate from the historic building.

Stuffed bagels are now in Campbell, featuring Asian-inspired flavors
Los Angeles’s stuffed bagel craze has finally worked its way up north to Campbell – now, with an Asian twist. Recently popularized by Calic Bagel after taste tests and at-home recreations went viral on TikTok in April, these bagels are partially cut, stuffed with a cream cheese filling, then dunked into flavored butter and baked for extra crispness.
Asa Los Altos transfers ownership, reopens as Roja
On June 15, new restaurant Roja quietly welcomed diners to the former Asa Los Altos space. So quietly that some diners who had reservations with Asa didn’t know of the ownership change until they began ordering.
