Caltrain is looking for commuters to be part of a panel focusing on the interests and perspectives of those who walk, or use bicycles or scooters, to ride the rail line’s system.
The Bicycle & Active Transportation Advisory Committee, or BATAC, has a total of six openings, which are expected be filled by a member of the public and a representative of a bicycle advocacy group from San Francisco, a member of the public and a public agency staff member from San Mateo County, and a representative of a bicycle advocacy group and a public agency staff member from Santa Clara County.
According to Caltrain, BATAC meets in-person every other month in San Carlos.
