The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority said regular light rail service along the system’s Orange Line, which serves Mountain View’s station, had resumed by mid-morning on Monday.

Shortly after 10 a.m., VTA said on social media that Orange Line service had resumed from the Alum Rock to Mountain View transit centers, connecting with the Milpitas BART station.

“The Blue Line and the Green Line are still undergoing safety checks and repairs, and service will begin as soon as possible,” VTA said on BlueSky.

At around 11:30 a.m., VTA sent out a notice that partial Blue Line service had also resumed, from Downtown San Jose to Baypointe.

The transit agency’s bus service has been fully restored since Friday after a union strike ended.

Amalgamated Transit Union Local 265 members had been on strike since March 10 over contract issues, but a judge ruled last week that the strike must end. About 1,500 frontline workers, including bus drivers and light rail train operators, are represented by the union.
