Armed Robbery, 790 N. Shoreline Blvd., 3/19

At 10:41 p.m., a Hispanic male entered an Arco gas station store and pulled out a small black handgun. He ordered the employee to the floor and stole money and cigarettes. He fled the scene on foot, leaving the clerk uninjured.

The burglar is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old. He is approximately 5-foot-3, weighs about 140 pounds and has brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion. The thief, who was wearing dark gloves and a dark multi-colored sweatshirt, is still at large.

Strong Armed Robbery, 600 block Franklin St., 3/19

A man was walking up to an apartment unit at 12:17 a.m. when a low, raspy voice from behind demanded his money. He surrendered his wallet to the suspect, who took the money and hit the man over the head with an unknown object. The victim lost consciousness, and phoned authorities after he came to. The robber was not located.
