Above normal temps are expected for the Bay Area starting Wednesday.

In an advisory on Monday, the National Weather Service said there will be minor heat risk in the inland North Bay, East Bay, South Bay, Santa Cruz County and interior Monterey County until Friday.

The North and East bays are also expected to have offshore winds until Thursday.

The NWS said there is low risk for heat-related illnesses for people extremely sensitive to heat, especially those without enough cooling or proper hydration.
