The League of Women Voters is once again holding a candidate forum, giving local voters a chance to meet the people seeking to represent them.

The candidates are running in the upcoming June election for the 22nd Assembly District and Superior Court Judicial Office No. 8. They will meet to discuss their views at the Mountain View City Council Chambers this Monday evening.

Candidates for the Superior Court position will speak and answer questions from 7 to 8 p.m. The candidates are Jay Steven Boyarsky, Lane Liroff, Diane Ritchie, Tim Pitsker and Jesus “Jess” Valencia.

The candidates for the 22nd Assembly District position will speak and answer questions from 8 to 9 p.m. The Democratic candidates are Dominic Caserta, a teacher and member of the Santa Clara council; Paul Fong, a college professor and trustee; Anna Song, member of the Santa Clara County Board of Education; and Chris Wang, a Cupertino council member. Annalisa Yenne, the Republican candidate and a financial consultant, is running unopposed.

The 22nd Assembly District position, currently held by Sally Lieber, serves Mountain View, parts of Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino and San Jose.
