Irish band Rosin the Bow will perform live at St. Stephens Green on St. Patrick’s Day (Tuesday, March 17) from 5 to 9 p.m. Free. RSVP: Quota Spring Fashion Show Benefit
Tomorrow is the last day to RSVP for Quota International of Mountain View/Los Altos’ Fashion Show and Luncheon, being held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at Michael’s at Shoreline. Titled “Completing the Look,” the event will feature models wearing fashions by three local merchants and escorted by Mountain View firefighters, and also features no-host bar, silent auction, then a luncheon and raffle. Tickets are $40 per person, with proceeds benefiting the hearing and speech impaired as well as the Support Network for Battered Women and Children. RSVP by March 18. Exhibit: Spring Tea Etiquette at Rengstorff House
The historic Rengstorff House, 3070 N. Shoreline Boulevard, is hosting a Spring Tea Etiquette cultural arts display as part of its seasonal exhibitions increasing public awareness of 19th century Mountain View. Original artwork and colorful prints depicting tea culture in China, Japan, Russia, Britain and India are up for viewing now through May 31, along with a selection of tea cups, saucers and much more.
