Seminar: What Every Parent Should Know about Eating Disorders
Dr. Rebecka Peebles, an adolescent medicine physician from Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital’s Eating Disorder Clinic, will discuss myths and facts about preteen and adolescent body image, how it relates to eating disorders, and how to identify signs of impending problems. The seminar starts March 24 at 8:30 p.m. at the Palo Alto Family YMCA, 3412 Ross Road, Palo Alto. No cost to attend, but reserve a seat by calling (650) 724-3783.
Exhibit: Spring Tea Etiquette at Rengstorff House
The historic Rengstorff House, 3070 N. Shoreline Boulevard, is hosting a Spring Tea Etiquette cultural arts display as part of its seasonal exhibitions increasing public awareness of 19th century Mountain View. Original artwork and colorful prints depicting tea culture in China, Japan, Russia, Britain and India are up for viewing now through May 31, along with a selection of tea cups, saucers and much more.
