Mountain View’s annual Community Yard Sale is Saturday, May 9 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Rengstorff Park, located at 201 S. Rengstorff Ave. near Central Expressway. More than 100 vendors in the park will be offering good food and great bargains. Call (650) 903-6331 for more information.

Theater: PYT presents “Sleeping Beauty” at MVCPA

Peninsula Youth Theatre presents “Sleeping Beauty” on the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts’ MainStage beginning Saturday morning, May 9 and running through Sunday, May 17. Show times are Thursday at 9:30 a.m., Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Sunday, May 10 at 1 and 6:30 p.m., Sunday, May 17 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults; $16 for seniors and children 12 and under; $7 for 9:30 a.m. performances. Screening: “Letters from the Other Side” at CSMA

The Day Worker Center of Mountain View is showing “ Letters from the Other Side,” a documentary about day workers from the perspective of the women left behind in Mexico. A reception and question-and-answer session with Austin-based filmmaker Heather Courtney, along with live music, will follow the 70-minute film. The screening is Saturday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at the Community School of Music and Arts, 230 San Antonio Circle, Mountain View.
