Peninsula Youth Theatre presents “Sleeping Beauty” on the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts’ MainStage through Sunday, May 17. Class: Water-efficient landscaping tips at Senior Center
Get ideas on how to replace your lawn with beautiful water-efficient landscaping, and learn how Santa Clara County residents can qualify for a lawn replacement rebate. Sponsored by the City of Mountain View and the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA). The class is free, but space is limited. Event: 11th Annual Race for Literacy at Shoreline Park
Organized by India Literacy Project, this annual event attracts hundreds of participants and raises money to promote literacy in India. Featuring professionally timed 5K/10K races and a 5K fun walk, plus music, food, free T-shirts and special events for the kids.
