After a Friday-night preview at 8 p.m., Palo Alto Players opens its production of the musical “Sunset Boulevard” on Saturday, Nov. 6, also at 8. The show runs through Nov. 21 at the Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.
The Palo Alto Buddhist Temple hosts an Artistry Faire on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2751 Louis Road in Palo Alto. Fine arts and Asian crafts will be for sale, including ceramics, wall sculptures, fiber arts, candles and soaps.
At 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, the Grammy award-nominated acoustic guitarist Alex De Grassi will perform a concert at First Congregational Church of Palo Alto at 1985 Louis Road. De Grassi will also host a master class at 4 p.m.
