The film “Kukushka,” which traces the unlikely intersection of three vastly different characters against the backdrop of World War II — a Finnish soldier turned imprisoned sniper, a Russian captain under arrest and a local peasant woman — will be screened today, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at 650 Mayfield Ave., Stanford University. In Russian with English subtitles.
