Theater: ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’
Peninsula Youth Theatre presents “The Owl and the Pussycat,” today, April 30, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. $8. Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St., Mountain View.
Community event: Safety Faire at Stanford
Hosted by the Palo Alto/Stanford Citizen Corps Council, a safety event including 32 nonprofit booths, a children’s area and emergency equipment will be held Sunday, May 1, from noon to 4 p.m. at Stanford Shopping center.
Concert: ‘Sounds for the New World’
“Sounds for the New World,” a concert featuring the Topaz Classique Ensemble and the Topaz New World Youth Orchestra, will be performed Sunday, May 1, at 3 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 555 Waverley St., Palo Alto.
