Community: Stanford Powwow

Today, May 6, at 5 p.m., the 40th Annual Stanford Powwow and Art Market begins in the Eucalyptus Grove at Galvez Street and Campus Drive at Stanford University. The event is free and runs through Sunday, with Native-American dancing, a fun run and an art market.

Music: Cello sonatas

A free faculty concert is being held at the Community School of Music and Arts tonight, May 6, at 7 p.m., featuring cello sonatas with violin, bassoon and piano. The school is at 230 San Antonio Circle in Mountain View. The musicians are cellist Amy Hsieh, violinist Anthony Doheny, bassoonist Mihail Iliev, and pianist Liz Poole.
