Event: Mountain View Art & Wine Festival

Mountain View’s Art & Wine Festival celebrates its 40th birthday this weekend, Sept. 10-11, with fine art, live music, food and drink, the Comcast Pigskin Party Lounge and more. Stop by the Voice’s booth to get your picture in the paper, or just meet the staff. A remembrance ceremony for the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks is set for 11 a.m. on Sunday with a procession to the Civic Center Plaza. 10-6 p.m. Castro Street, downtown Mountain View. Free. Community: Palo Alto Airport Day

On Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Palo Alto Airport Association is holding its free Airport Day at 1925 Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto. Scheduled activities include tours, visits by various aircraft and flights for kids.

Music: Mozart’s Requiem

As a memorial for the victims of 9/11, the singers of Schola Cantorum and other Bay Area choirs will perform Mozart’s Requiem with an orchestra in the Stanford University Memorial Church at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11. The concert is free and will be conducted by University Organist Robert Huw Morgan.
