Fundraiser: Fire department pancake breakfast
Mountain View firefighters host the seventh annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 24, 8 a.m.-11 a.m. at Fire Station 4, 229 N. Whisman Road. Proceeds from the breakfast and silent auction benefits the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. $5 adults, $3 children under 10.
Event: Media Center open house
Palo Alto’s Midpeninsula Community Media Center is holding a free open house on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. at 900 San Antonio Road. The Andre Thierry Zydeco Band will perform, with al fresco dance lessons, tours and hands-on demonstrations of cameras and other equipment.
