Theater: ‘Mauritius’ at the Pear
The bequest of a stamp album fans the flames of greed and sibling rivalry in “Mauritius” tonight, Nov. 18, at 8 p.m. at the Pear Avenue Theatre, 1220 Pear Ave., Mountain View. Final performances are Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 – $25.
Music: Stanford Symphonic Chorus
Yes, holiday concerts are already beginning: Tonight, Nov. 18, at 8 p.m., the Stanford Symphonic Chorus joins the Peninsula Symphony Orchestra for a concert of American and English seasonal music. The program, which will be repeated Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m., is in Stanford’s Memorial Church. $20 general, $19 seniors, and $10 students.
