It’s Election Day in California, and voters have just hours left to cast ballots in the June 2 primary election.

Mountain View residents have a chance to weigh in on who will represent the area on the state Board of Equalization, in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the state Assembly. Voters will also pick who will serve as Santa Clara County’s district attorney.

There are also a variety of statewide races on the ballot, including contests for governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state and attorney general.

Ballots have been trickling in, with 19.78% of registered voters having returned their mail-in ballots as of June 1, according to the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters.

Voting places are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Those who are in line by 8 p.m. can still cast their vote.

Ballots that are returned by mail are required to be postmarked on or before Election Day and must be received by the county Registrar of Voters no more than seven days after the election. Ballots can also be dropped off until 8 p.m. on Election Day to any authorized drop-off location in Santa Clara County.
