Air National Guard Sgt. Jesus Feliciano is embraced by his children, fraternal twins Tristan and Adriana, when he returned to Moffett Federal Airfield after a four-month deployment. Families and friends of the 129th Rescue Guard gathered to welcome home their heroes on Monday, June 10.
Almost 150 men and women from the unit were scheduled to arrive throughout the week, returning from missions in Afghanistan and Cape Horn in Africa. Besides its wartime role of combat search-and-rescue missions, the 129th works closely with the U.S. Coast Guard and others to rescue civilians.
