Local residents who died recently include:
Martha Coddington, 79, a Menlo Park resident who taught fourth grade in Burlingame before retiring in Sharon Heights, and who was a passionate equestrian, tennis player and skier, on Dec. 12, 2024.
Frederic Duperrault, 98, who served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, worked as a teacher in Wisconsin, and later took on an activist role for social justice and civil liberties with organizations including Veterans for Peace and the World Federalists, on Dec. 12, 2024.
