Nika Gholami earned medalist honors and St. Francis earned a pair of victories in West Catholic Athletic League girls golf action at Sunnyvale Golf Club on Monday.

The Lancers (9-1, 8-1) have a rematch with Valley Christian on Thursday, Oct. 14 at Los Altos Country Club. The Warriors handed St. Francis its only loss of the season on Sept. 21 at CordeValle.

St. Francis recorded a team total of 195 over nine holes. Presentation scored a 225 and Sacred Heart Cathedral finished with a 251.

In the Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division, Natalie Benrey and Katie Spivakovsky shared medalist honors, each shooting a round of 41 at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club.

M-A topped Mills 270-309 to improve to 7-3 in PAL play. Angelina Heller, Chrlotte Dunn and Morgan Baudler also scored for M-A.

In the West Bay Athletic League, Castilleja remained unbeaten with a 242-277 victory over Notre Dame San Jose at San Jose Muni.

Castilleja, tied with Harker (each at 7-0), hosts Notre Dame Belmont at Sunnyvale Golf Club on Tuesday.

Girls tennis

Gunn dropped a 4-3 non league decision to host Monta Vista, second place in the SCVAL De Anza Division, on Monday.

The Titans received singles victories from Aoi Kunimoto and Kailani Baker-Matsuoka and a doubles win from Elise Naddell and Nimisha Sivaraman.

Gunn plays Tuesday at Wilcox and at home on Thursday vs. Los Gatos.
