Nostalgia lines the shelves in Videoscope, Mountain View's last video rental store. Videoscope, located at 2290 W. El Camino Real, is the latest victim, following in the footsteps of video rental franchises Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. Art: 'Felines & Florals'
Artist Jane W. Ferguson, who works in watermedia on paper and canvas, is showing paintings of cats and blossoms at Viewpoints Gallery this month. The free exhibit is up through June 30 at 315 State St. in Los Altos. The artist, a native of England, has been showing her work since 1998. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Theater: 'Boeing Boeing'
The opening show of the Palo Alto Players' "Boeing Boeing" will be Saturday, June 15, at 8 p.m. Bernard, an American in Paris with an apartment conveniently located near Orly airport, is a magnet for all the stewardesses who fly through. There will also be a show on Sunday, June 16, at 2:30 p.m. Both are at the Lucie Stern Theater on 1305 Middlefield Road.

Festival: World Music Day
Palo Alto World Music Day is a music festival that takes places every year on Father's Day. It will be celebrated for the fifth time in Palo Alto on Sunday June 16, from 3 to 7:30 p.m. on University Avenue (closed to traffic) and King Plaza.

Review: Wild, wacky and wonderful
Colman Domingo, playwright and actor for TheatreWorks' latest show, is a bit of a native son, having done a fair amount of acting locally before making his way on Broadway and film. He returns to us in his most recent work, "Wild With Happy," a play that was a hit at TheatreWorks' New Works Festival in 2011 and ran to acclaim at New York's Public Theater before coming here. Power restored after early morning outage

Council hesitant to boost library funding
