WRESTLING
Lancers make big showing at CCS wrestling tourney
St. Francis wrestling brought almost the whole team to CCS, with entries in 11 of the 14 weight classes. The Lancer wrestlers went a combined 26-21 overall during the tournament to finish 9th. Senior Joel Shaw placed once again, winning 4th in the 145 weight class. Other standouts were Rory Pruvot (160) and Drew Toney (171), who each went 4-2.
Hoko, Sell and Shapiro wrestle in CCS for Eagles
Los Altos brought three wrestlers to CCS this year. Sophomore Matt Sell (171) was the standout, going 2-2 in the tough tournament. Overall, the team went 3-6 in CCS matches. Shapiro, a senior, is the only wrestler not expected to return for the young Eagle team.
